 On December 16th "Go & See" - "Close up" Discussion Club will present ESKIMO - an organization committed to producing, presenting and promoting works of art regardless of their form or style, under the only condition for them to be distinguished and volunteer. ESKIMO's activities include organization of various public events and forums for presentation and exploration of art.
The first signals of life were sent by the organization at the end of 2003 through subversive activities in the National Academy of Art. In 2004 ESKIMO organizes ÎRG.ORG. - a meeting of independent cultural organizations run by young artists. The project is based on the idea of meeting and dialogue between the contemporary Bulgarian and European culture and aims at tracing the aesthetical and social parameters of art produced by independent cultural structures as well as patterns of distribution and exchange of aesthetic information and cultural production.
Update: After ESKIMO was uncovered and thrown out from Lonoto (The Bosom), it entered into an alliance with Å80 association and one of the kings of Sofia night life. The result form there dynamic and chaotic co-operation will be accessible at the following address: 18 Vitoshka, blvd.; Deep Down Club.
Opening party on December 20th.
