discussion club/
On December 2nd "Close up" Discussion Club will present "Underground?-
How it is read in BG?" - presentation of the online magazines:
- comix.cult.bg - a site for underground cartoons;
- blr.cult.bg - a site for alternative youth art;
A Presentation by Stanislav Ilev (student in the Sofia University), Kori
Mendocino and Vlado Taulov (school students respectively in 9 and 11 grade
from the Foreign Languages High School "Romain Roland" in the
town of Stara Zagora). The presentation includes history of the sites,
their goals, trends, content and their role for maintenance of the underground
culture in Bulgaria.
Discussion will be focused on why young authors prefer online sites for
information exchange and publication of their own works and what is the
degree of dependence between underground culture and web sites if any.
